From mid-August we will be able to test goods vehicles from 3.0 to 3.5 tonne DGW (Class VII) and three-wheeled vehicles (Class III).

There is no change to our existing car, van and motorcycle test facilities or to our dedicated, impartial service – we will just be testing a wider range of vehicles.

However, in order to install the new test equipment, we unavoidably need to close the workshop for a couple of days. We will be closed on 12th, 13th and 14th August 2013 for MOT tests and retests.

If your MOT is due on any of those dates, please make sure you’re booked in earlier – last appointments before the refit will be on Saturday 10th August.

If your vehicle is in during the fortnight before, we won’t be able to do any retests during the closed days, so please bear that in mind if you expect it to fail the MOT!

Unfortunately the closure will eat into the usual 10 working day retest period and that is beyond our control, so you might have to come back sooner than that if your vehicle should fail its test.

We will still be on site during the refit and will be able to take bookings for dates after we reopen by phone or online.
