The six-month extensions being added to MOTs due on or after 30 March 2020 will end on 31 July.

Your MOT will NOT be extended if it expires on or after 1 August 2020. You must book an MOT as usual.

You can get an MOT up to a month (minus a day) before it runs out and keep the same renewal date.

If you have already been given the extension it will remain, but you can still get an MOT test at any time before expiry to make sure your vehicle remains in a safe and roadworthy condition.
