The Gov.uk website has been updated to make it easier to check the details they hold about a vehicle – including the MOT expiry date.

Previously, you needed to enter details such as the V5C (logbook) reference number, but now all you need to know is the registration number and make of the vehicle.

Entering these details at vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk will show the current tax and MOT status of the vehicle.
